NVIDIA shares $5 billion in Intel, co-builds x86 RTX processor SOC

In collaboration with Intel, NVIDIA will invest a total of $5 billion in Intel general shares per share of $23.28 to develop multigenerational information centres and personal computer products.

The two companies will use NV Link technology to link NVIDIA’s AI and Accelerating Operations Advantages, and combine the Intel’s leading CPU technology and x86 ecosystems.

In the central area of information, Intel will create a customised x86 CPU for NVIDIA to apply it to the AI infrastructure platform and supply it to the market.

In the area of personal accounts, two companies will work together to create a system-scale chip (SOC) that integrates NVIDIA RTX GPU and Intel x86 CPU, which will provide the PC with world-class CPU and GPU resources for a variety of needs.

This investment is subject to the conditions for the transaction, including the necessary regulatory authorization. Earlier, Executive Director Intel Chen Li-Wu took a self-porning picture of himself with Executive Director NVIDIA, showing the confidence of both sides to be optimistic.
